Alpha DVD Creations uses a proprietary digital process from start to finish to offer an all digital transfer of your special family memories.
Film transfers are performed using a professional quality high speed digital camera in conjunction with state-of-the-art telecine projector that transfer your movies into our video processing system, Frame by Frame!
We first review all of your reels looking for any information that might identify the date and the event, (sometimes it might be just a postmark date on those old yellow boxes).
Here are some key options we offer when doing a Film Transfer
• Make every effort to keep the video history chronological.
• Clean the film by hand with an anti-static film cleaner and lubricate.
• Capture and digitize the film through our telecine projector.
• Your original film is returned to you.
• The movie is now all digital and in our video editing software
• Review and edit out any extremely poor video.
• We can add titles, dates, captions if you provide them for us.
• Make limited color and clarity corrections.
• Add a voice over narration or generic music if desired.
• Add a menu page for easy navigation of the video.
• We also can capture photos from the video for the DVD cover or for a nice DVD case.
